There are also some companies of different countries serving Istanbul and also participants can find charter tickets to Istanbul. In addition, one can find direct flights from European cities to Trabzon in summer time.

Concerning transport from Istanbul to Trabzon, two options are available: by plane or by bus.

Concerning flights from Istanbul to Trabzon, every day there are 11 flights by different domestic companies (As Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, OnurAir) and the flight takes approximately 90 minutes. The Faculty vehicles will pick up participants from the airport to the hotel upon their arrival in Trabzon. The distance between the airport and the hotel is nearly 13 km. A group of local university students assigned by Local Organising Team will meet participants at the airport and help the participants to get to their hotels.

If the participants prefer bus travel from Istanbul to Trabzon there is an underground from airport to Esenler Coach Station. There are many travelling companies which come to Trabzon from the Bus Station of Istanbul (Esenler Otogari). The journey from Istanbul to Trabzon by bus takes about 17 hours. Trabzon Bus Station is nearly 8km to the hotel. A group of local university students assigned by Local Organising Team will meet participants at the coach station and help the participants to get to their hotels.
